The Season of the Witch: The Rare Halloween Spell Works
When the veil thins and the breath of Samhain moves through leaf, shadow, and ember, the witches gather beneath the dying moon. The Season of the Witch is the most potent cycle of the year - when destiny bends, hearts awaken, and every hidden current stirs. From the recovered Grimoire of the Silent Flame, rare works are performed only once each season. Each calls forth an ancient covenant between human will and the elemental powers that shape the unseen world.
The Rite of the Black Flame Mirror
Mirror Magicka of Shadow Revelation
Performed on the threshold night when the veil thins, Albina and the Coven gather in a circle of obsidian mirrors etched with silver glyphs. As each flame is lit, its light is devoured by the mirror’s surface, drawing forth the unseen truths buried in one’s lineage, hidden contracts, or long-lost power. The mirrors shimmer and pulse, revealing visions of ancestral pacts or forgotten talents long sealed by fear or mimicry.
At the height of the rite, Albina breathes into the central mirror, calling the Black Flame—the sacred, paradoxical fire that illuminates by consuming illusion. This flame does not burn the soul but refines it, revealing what must be integrated or released before Samhain. Each participant is asked to gaze into the mirror and name, aloud or within, what they are ready to see without distortion.
The energy spirals inward and then radiates through the auric field, anchoring clarity and inner sovereignty. The mirrors are veiled afterward, for their power remains potent beyond the ceremony. This rite cleanses the eyes of perception and ignites the witch’s deeper seeing—beyond glamour, deceit, or shadow manipulation.
