COVEN WORK FULL MOON JUNE 11TH
Blessing of the Open Cup – A Full Moon Benediction of Grace
In the moon’s tender fullness, Albina prepares a wide chalice carved from rosewood, inscribed with symbols of peace, ease, and sacred receiving. Around it, the Coven places white petals, feathers, bits of honeycomb, and moonstones -
each one a vessel of grace. This spell is not cast to fix or chase, but to allow - to open the field of the recipient to unlooked-for goodness, invisible protection, and quiet joy.
The moonlight is caught in the water poured into the cup. Albina whispers blessings into it - health where there has been weariness, comfort where there has been anxiety, delight where there has been numbness. “Let what is kind find you. Let what is meant remain. Let what is yours return unharmed.” The air smells of vanilla, sage, and lemon balm. The mood is not urgent - it is sacred stillness.
The water is later poured one's written name. The blessing is slow but enduring—it ripples through their field like gentle warmth, drawing in moments of care, insight, and surprising relief. The spell does not roar—it arrives. And with it, a new rhythm: one in which life does not have to be earned by suffering, but flows with the grace of the moon’s own generous light.
